The Carnegie Museum of Montgomery County presents Poetry Day on Saturday, April 27th from 1 to 3 pm. April is National Poetry Month, so join us as Wabash Professor and Poet Dr. Marc Hudson, and students from Wabash College present a variety of Poetry, followed by fun activities to encourage creativity and playing with words. The theme of this year's Poetry Day is Poetry as a Form of Transport. In addition to the presentation of poetry visitors can make their own poems, listen to both classic poetry and new poetry and have a chance to recite their own work as well. This event is about poetry in all of its forms.
