Author visit: James E. Rady

Meet the author of A Time to Forgive and Love Finds a Way at the Crawfordsville District Public Library.

Author James E. Rady will be at CDPL on Wednesday, April 18th from 6-8pm.

James Edward Rady, a Hoosier poet/author was born on a farm in Indiana and reared in the community of Roachdale. He graduated from Roachdale High School and earned BA and MS degrees from Indiana University. He retired from a career in Indiana schools as a teacher/administrator. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II and retired from a career in the U.S Army, serving during the Korea and Vietnam wars. He has written and edited Bible Study material, Sunday School lessons, Tracts, educational newsletters, brochures, and booklets. He hosted a radio news and cable TV talk show on education. He has published three books of poetry, and at the age of 85, with his collection of original letters from a Civil War soldier, he completed his first novel, Love Finds A Way. His second novel, A Time to Forgive, was completed at age 88. He and his wife make their home in Lima, Ohio.

 In addition to his latest novels, CDPL also has Rady's books of poetry in our Local History collection.
