The Crawfordsville District Public Library is offering an assortment of free, introductory computer classes for adults who have little or no experience using a computer.
Adult learners will be introduced to computer basics using laptop computers with Windows 7 Microsoft operating systems. The laptops will be equipped with mice and keyboards.
Registration begins Tues., Jan. 29, 2013. To register for a class, visit the Reference desk on the second floor of the library, or call (765)362-2242, ext. 100. No voice mail registrations accepted. Class sizes are limited to five participants per class to allow for personalized instruction. Registration is on a first come first served basis. Wait lists will be formed if classes fill. Classes will be held in Room C in the lower level of the library. Genealogy classes held in the 2nd floor computer area.

· Storage devices
· Definition/history of the Internet
· Internet browsers
· Internet search engines
· Searching on the Internet
· Tablet computers

Introduction to Microsoft Excel 2010Sat., February 9, 2013 10:00-11:30 a.m.

· Excel 2010 interface/ribbon
· Creating/opening worksheets/workbooks
· Data types
· Entering data
· Autofill/autocomplete
