Celebrating National Library Week: Reader's Advisory

Do you sometimes have trouble trying to figure our what to read next? Do you often want to investigate a series? Do you want suggestions by category or theme on what to read? Then why not try the CDPL reader's advisory blog: Words Worth Reading

Words Worth Reading is our literature blog that was created to help you find books worth reading.

You can get to the blog from the library home page (http://www.cdpl.lib.in.us/) and use the "What's New?" menu to choose Reader's Advisory -- or simply go straight to the blog at http://cdpl-readers-advisory.blogspot.com/

On the left side of the blog are several categories of links you can use
  • Read Alikes
  • Categories/Themes
  • Series
  • CDPL's Honored Local Authors
That way you can browse for whatever you want!

You can also read articles on new arrivals in the library.

The Read Alikes are especially helpful for you to find authors similar to those you already like. And, where possible, you are also given a link to the author's offical web site, a link to what we have of that author in our catalog, and also a link to a Wikipedia biography.

Be sure to give Words Worth Reading a try!
