Poetry Day at the Carnegie Museum!
Saturday, April 27, 1-3pm
The Carnegie Museum of
Montgomery County presents Poetry Day on Saturday, April 27th
from 1 to 3 pm. April is National Poetry Month, so join us as Wabash Professor
and Poet Dr. Marc Hudson, and students from Wabash College present a variety of
Poetry, followed by fun activities to encourage creativity and playing with
words. The theme of this year's Poetry Day is Poetry as a Form of
Transport. In addition to the presentation of poetry visitors can make
their own poems, listen to both classic poetry and new poetry and have a chance
to recite their own work as well. This event is about poetry in all of its
forms.
Admission is free and all
ages are welcome. The Carnegie Museum is located at 222 S Washington Street in
downtown Crawfordsville. For more information please call 765-362-4618.
