Tenzin Gyatso (born July 6, 1935 in Qinghai) is the spiritual Buddhist leader in Tibet and a noted public speaker. He became the spiritual leader in 1950, at the age of 15, and has been a prominent voice for the past five decades. The Dalai Lama has written many books, including his autobiography
Freedom in Exile and
The Art of Happiness.
