BOOK MUNCHERS is a program for home schoolers at the Crawfordsville Public Library! The first Tuesday of every month at 12:15. No registration necessary. Bring your lunch and listen to stories. Then do activities with Ms. Linda!

Christie's Jewelry Making class is meeting on December 8 from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Make necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and rings. Learn wire wrapping and much more! Great for holiday gifts. $20 for class, payable by Thursday, December 6. Sign up and pay at circulation.

CDPL is happy to announce the launch of our new eBook collection! Starting December 1st, you can check out an eBook from the library and read it on your computer, laptop, tablet, or smart phone, anywhere, anytime, using the free Blio app.  Enjoy eBooks in full color, some with narration and interactive content. Our entire eBook collection is also fully accessible to the visually impaired and is compatible with screen-reader technology.

Title IX was signed by President Richard Nixon June 23, 1972:

“No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be

excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any educational program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance."

Art Show at Carnegie Museum

Line, Shape, Color, Value, Form, Space, Texture

The ingredients of some great art are on display at the Carnegie Museum from November 8 through the end of December. Crawfordsville Community School Corporation Visual Arts teachers for Kindergarten through 8th grades have come together to display student artwork. Students from Hose Elementary, Nicholson Elementary, Hoover Elementary and Tuttle Middle School are represented.
